ABOUT US
OUR MISSION STATEMENT
As our industry has evolved from the time when a codec required an engineer to just keep it running, to the ubiquitous video applications of today, we at VDO360 have been the engine that makes those solutions work.
At the time we started VDO360, we decided that it was important to find that key piece of equipment that will change the way we collaborate. That key piece is the computer and the peripherals that surround it. We are doing constant research and development for the next generation of these systems in consideration of not only the technology, but how people use it. Change is inevitable, and technology changes faster than people do. Our goal is to bridge the divide between how people use visual collaboration and the latest technologies available now and in the future.
What sets VDO360 apart from the competition? Our innovation, passion, and quality. Innovation is key, from our entry into the market with the first affordable PTZ USB camera to our latest autonomous camera systems, we at VDO360 have consistently led the way in visual collaboration. Our passion shows in how we approach our customers and the greater market. We have extensive experience in all aspects of the visual collaboration market as well as a long-standing interest in pushing the boundaries to create a comfortable environment for everyone using video services. The video experience provided by VDO360 products is unrivalled in quality. While many may think that “good enough” is fine we feel that an attitude such as that is why many users are unfulfilled when it comes to the other video collaboration peripherals available in the market today. Our cameras are designed to not only provide amazing video, but to be comfortable and easy to use.
MEET THE LEADERSHIP
Dan Freeman
CEO
Dan Freeman started in the videoconferencing industry early in 1996, when he joined T-Line Services (now VSGI) as a field service engineer. In early 2000 Dan branched off on his own and co-founded VCAV Services, the original “Videoconferencing Tech for Hire” company that at the peak contracted with over 150 engineers all over the world.
With over 3,000 conference spaces personally installed, and at least 10,000 new users trained to use them, Dan is not only well acquainted with how people use visual collaboration technology, but also intimately aware of the changing market and the growth of the UCaaS model of today.
in 2012 Dan turned his efforts to building VDO360, with the goal of providing the innovative and user-centric peripheral devices that this new market requires.
On a more personal side- he has a passion for sailing, travel, and of course, inventing!
